Fabian P. Eckert is Assistant Professor of economics at UC San Diego. Fabian studies international trade, economic geography and macroeconomics. He received his Ph.D. in economics from Yale University in 2019. -
Simon Evenett
Simon J. Evenett is Professor of international trade and economic development at the University of St. Gallen and Founder of the St. Gallen Endowment for Prosperity through Trade. His Global Trade Alert independently monitors trade policy around the world. Simon is also a Research Fellow of the CEPR, London, and a former senior fellow of the Brookings Institution, Washington, DC. He received his Ph.D. in economics from Yale University.

Carlos Góes
Carlos Góes holds a Ph.D. in economics from UC San Diego, where he was a member of the founding GP-lab team. Carlos now works at the World Bank group. His research lies at the intersection of international trade and macroeconomics. Carlos previously was as a senior economic adviser to the President of Brazil and a researcher at the International Monetary Fund and the World Trade Organization. Carlos is the founder of Instituto Mercado Popular, a São Paulo-based think tank. -
Kyle Handley
Kyle Handley is Associate Professor of economics at UC San Diego and directs the Center for Commerce & Diplomacy at the School of Global Policy and Strategy, UC San Diego. Kyle studies international trade and investment as well as firm dynamics with a special focus on responses to uncertainty. Kyle is also a Research Associate at the NBER. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Maryland in 2011.
